PRIVACY POLICY Cryptarin 🔐

Effective Date: 22.12.2025
1. General ProvisionsThis Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how information is processed when using the non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet Cryptarin (“Cryptarin”, “Application”, “Wallet”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
We respect users’ right to privacy and design Cryptarin in accordance with the principles of privacy by design and data minimization, meaning that we collect only the minimum amount of information strictly necessary for the operation of the Application or do not collect such information at all.
This Policy applies to all users of Cryptarin, regardless of their country of residence or location.
By accessing or using Cryptarin, you confirm that you:
  • have read this Privacy Policy;
  • understand its terms;
  • fully accept and agree to be bound by it.
2. Non-Custodial Nature of Cryptarin
Cryptarin is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet.
This means that:
  • we do not store, do not control, and do not have access to:
  • seed phrases;
  • private keys;
  • public and private key pairs;
  • users’ digital assets or funds;
  • seed phrases and cryptographic keys are generated exclusively on the user’s device;
  • seed phrases are intended to be stored offline on a physical medium (card) fully controlled by the user;
  • all transactions require explicit and conscious confirmation by the user, including confirmation using a physical card.
Cryptarin is technically incapable of:
  • recovering seed phrases or restoring wallet access;
  • canceling, modifying, or suspending blockchain transactions;
  • freezing, transferring, or managing user funds;
  • performing transactions on behalf of users.
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
Cryptarin intentionally does not collect or process the following data:
  • first name, last name, or other personal identifiers;
  • date of birth;
  • passport or government-issued identification data;
  • residential or postal address;
  • phone number;
  • banking or payment details;
  • biometric data;
  • KYC / AML information;
  • seed phrases, private keys, or other cryptographic secrets;
  • transaction history outside of public blockchains.
The use of Cryptarin does not require account registration or submission of personal data.
4. Information That May Be Processed
4.1 Technical and Diagnostic InformationTo ensure the stable and secure operation of Cryptarin, limited anonymized technical data may be processed, including but not limited to:
  • device type and model;
  • operating system version;
  • Cryptarin application version;
  • anonymous crash reports and error logs;
  • application performance metrics.
Such information:
  • does not allow personal identification of users;
  • is used exclusively to improve application quality, reliability, and security;
  • is aggregated or anonymized whenever possible.
4.2 Blockchain-Related Information
When using Cryptarin, certain information becomes publicly available due to the nature of blockchain technology, including:
  • public wallet addresses;
  • transaction hashes;
  • transaction amounts and timestamps.
Such data:
  • is recorded directly on the relevant blockchain networks, not by Cryptarin;
  • is not stored or controlled by Cryptarin;
  • cannot be modified or deleted by us.
5. Blockchain Technology SpecificsThe user acknowledges and agrees that:
  • blockchain networks are decentralized systems with no single administrator;
  • blockchain records are generally immutable;
  • confirmed transactions are irreversible;
  • certain data subject rights (such as the right to data erasure) may be technically impossible to exercise in relation to blockchain data.
If the user does not agree with these characteristics, they must refrain from using Cryptarin.
6. Sending, Receiving, and Swapping Digital AssetsCryptarin provides functionality for:
  • sending digital assets;
  • receiving digital assets;
  • swapping digital assets.
Swap functionality may be provided through third-party decentralized protocols or services.
Cryptarin:
  • is not a party to any transaction;
  • does not store or hold user funds;
  • does not control third-party smart contracts;
  • does not guarantee exchange rates, liquidity, or transaction execution.
All decisions related to transactions are made solely by the user.
7. WalletConnect and Third-Party dApps
Cryptarin supports the WalletConnect protocol to enable interaction with third-party decentralized applications (“dApps”).
Cryptarin:
  • does not control third-party dApps;
  • is not responsible for their content, code, or smart contracts;
  • bears no liability for the consequences of user interactions with such applications.
Users connect to and use third-party dApps at their own risk.
8. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)
Where applicable under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), personal data is processed on one or more of the following legal bases:
  • Performance of a contract — to provide the functionality of the Cryptarin Wallet;
  • Legitimate interests — to ensure the security, stability, and proper functioning of the Application, provided that such interests are not overridden by users’ fundamental rights and freedoms;
  • User consent — where explicitly required, such as when contacting customer support.
9. GDPR Compliance and Rights of EU UsersFor users located in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, Cryptarin processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR and applicable data protection laws.
Data ControllerFor the purposes of GDPR, Cryptarin acts as the data controller with respect to any personal data that may be processed in connection with the Application.

  • the right to access personal data;
  • the right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • the right to restriction of processing;
  • the right to object to processing;
  • the right to data portability;

Blockchain Limitation
Due to the immutable and decentralized nature of blockchain technology, certain rights — including the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) — may be technically impossible to exercise with respect to blockchain-recorded data.
10. Data RetentionCryptarin does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
  • Technical and diagnostic data is retained only for as long as required to ensure application stability and security.
  • Cryptarin does not retain seed phrases, private keys, or user funds under any circumstances.
  • Blockchain-related data is stored on decentralized networks independently of Cryptarin and is not subject to our control.
11. International Data Transfers
Where technical service providers are located outside the European Union, appropriate safeguards are implemented in accordance with GDPR requirements to ensure an adequate level of data protection.
12. Data Sharing with Third Parties
We do not sell or rent personal data.
Limited data may be shared only with:
  • technical service providers (analytics, infrastructure) strictly for operational purposes;
  • legal authorities where required by applicable law.
13. Security Measures
We apply reasonable organizational and technical security measures.
However, users acknowledge that:
  • no system is completely secure;
  • full responsibility for safeguarding the seed phrase rests with the user;
  • loss of the seed phrase results in permanent and irreversible loss of access to the wallet.
14. Limitation of Liability
By using Cryptarin, the user agrees that:
  • the Application is used entirely at the user’s own risk;
  • Cryptarin bears no responsibility for loss of funds, user errors, blockchain failures, or actions of third parties;
  • the maximum liability of Cryptarin, if applicable, is limited to one hundred (100) US dollars.
15. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time.
